About Kat

Kat is registered with the Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists after qualifying as a Veterinary Physiotherapist in 2025. Alongside working as a veterinary physiotherapist, Kat also works locally as a Registered Veterinary Nurse so is well placed to cater to all your pet’s specific needs with a wide background of veterinary knowledge in her toolkit. She is confident treating a wide range of conditions, from neurological and orthopaedic through to arthritis and elderly animals, and has extensive experience nursing any medical conditions your animal may have ongoing in addition to their physiotherapy needs.

Kat has always had a passion for animals from a very young age, having had pets her whole life before dedicating her career to them too! At the moment, Kat owns a syrian Hamster called Nebi (who she is always happy to talk about when asked) and has a firm belief that all pets deserve equal care and attention specific to the individual species. While the majority of her patients are cats and dogs, Kat believes no animal is too small for physiotherapy and she is very happy to discuss treatment for pets of all shapes and sizes.

If you catch Kat outside of work you will likely find her singing with various local opera groups or practicing her ice skating skills at the rink!
